The Fanny and Barney Shear Library
Learn at the Jewish Library

The Fanny and Barney Shear Library was established at the JCC to increase Jewish literacy and encourage life-long learning. The Library has over 950 volumes including fiction, memoir, history, Jewish philosophy, current issues, art, language, Jewish observance and Jewish and Israeli films on DVD. The Library is open for your enjoyment whenever the JCC front desk is staffed. If you would like to peruse the shelves, just ask the person at the desk for the key to open the bookcases. Any books you take from the shelves or from the cart outside the Library door can be checked out at the front desk with your JCC membership card.
