Stingrays Swim Team



Stingrays Summer 2013 Swim Team (ages 5-15)

Our Swim Team is a fun and exciting program and is a great way for young swimmers to experience a swim team in a supportive environment. All participants receive a ribbon in every event they swim and the emphasis is always on fun! Coaches work with swimmers to develop competitive skills like starts, turns and racing strokes. All meets are held on Tuesday and Thursdays against local clubs. Swimmers must have the ability to swim one length of the pool front crawl and backstroke.

Season Dates
June 10 - August 1

Practices:
Mondays - Friday mornings, 8:30-9:45am
Monday-Thursday afternoons, 4:45-5:30 on (this practice is designed for Camp Butwin participants)

Practices are not mandatory and participants may select practices of their choosing. Campers will be picked up at Camp Butwin for swim meets. Return transportation to the JCC will be provided after the meets.

Important swim team dates
Interclub Finals - Thursday July 25
Bunker Beach Trip - Tuesday July 30
End of the season Banquet - Thursday August 1
